Do I need an appointment, or can I walk in?
Appointments are preferred, but walk-ins are welcome. Calling ahead at 985.845.1825 helps you skip the wait.
What insurance do you accept?
We accept most major insurance plans, Medicare, and most Medicaid plans including Healthy Blue, AmeriHealth, and Louisiana Healthcare Connections. Call our office and we'll help you check your coverage.
Where are you located?
Our primary office is at 1111 Village Walk, Covington, LA 70433. We also see patients in Bogalusa at 750 Avenue F. Ascent Spinal Rehab, our personal injury division, operates from 612 S. Tyler St in Covington and 750 Avenue F in Bogalusa.
What are your clinic hours?
Covington patient hours are Monday 2:00–5:00 PM, Tuesday 7:30–12:00 PM, Wednesday 9:00 AM–5:00 PM, Thursday 2:30–5:00 PM, and Friday 7:30–12:00 PM. Bogalusa patient hours are Tuesday 2:00–4:30 PM and Thursday 9:00 AM–12:00 PM.
Do you treat car accident and personal injury patients?
Yes. Ascent Spinal Rehab is our personal injury division. We work directly with attorneys through a Letter of Protection, so treatment can move forward while your case is pending, and we also handle workers' compensation cases.
Do you work with attorneys on injury cases?
Yes. Dr. Nicaud has treated over 2,000 personal injury patients across 20 years and has testified in court in New Orleans, Jefferson Parish, and St. Tammany Parish. Our office sends monthly statements so attorneys stay current on expenses, and contacts the attorney before any referral or change in treatment.
What services do you offer?
Chiropractic adjustments (manual and instrument), nutritional wellness, intersegmental traction table, ultrasound therapy, percussive therapy, whole body vibration, and red light therapy.
Who will I see at my appointment?
Dr. Nicaud sees every patient on every visit — there is no hand-off to a tech or assistant.
