Dr. Nicky Nicaud
Harvey J. Nicaud, Jr., DC · Board Certified Doctor of Chiropractic
Born and raised in New Orleans, Dr. Nicaud graduated from Parker Chiropractic College (now Parker University) in 1994, then completed 28 additional post-graduate study programs — including the Certified Addictionologist Program, certification in Manipulation Under Anesthesia, Whiplash and Brain Injury Traumatology, and the treatment of patients with heart disease and diabetes.
After six months working alongside other doctors at Metairie Chiropractic Clinic, he opened his first solo practice, Madisonville Chiropractic Clinic, in December 1994 — just six months after graduation. In 2004 he opened a second practice, Medical Rehab Accident Injury Center, focused on personal injury care. Following a move to Covington in 2013, both practices were rebranded under the names they carry today: Ascent Medical and Chiropractic and Ascent Spinal Rehab.
Over three decades of patient care, Dr. Nicaud discovered a real passion for personal injury work and has formed lasting relationships with attorneys throughout the area. He lives in Covington with his wife, five children, son-in-law, and grandson, and spends his free time on home renovation projects and with his dogs.
